This page presents five categories of recipes vetted, selected and collated by Dr Chenxu out of over two hundred recipes found online, and after having rigorously scrutinized over the ingredients used in each recipe.

Please note that these are recipes by courtesy of several individuals and site owners. Dr Chenxu has done modifications by replacing certain ingredients and omitting some others deemed unhealthy for the overweight/obese and diabetics. If you find a recipe without the ingredients listed directly below the food image of the page, please click on the URL link of the recipe contributor above the respective page to view the recipe. After you have decided on a recipe to use, simply copy or note the Recipe Code, then go to the online 'Meals_BloodGlucose_HealthRecords' site and select the code from the respective recipe dropdown list. You can select recipes for all your 2 or 3 main meals, salad, dressing, smoothie and shakes, and enter the day's record there.

Instead of giving you rigid meal plans, Dr Chenxu has decided to let you exercise flexibility to select from any of these recipes. This way, you will soon get a knack of how to prepare healthful foods using appropriate ingredients for optimal health. Should you want to be more adventurous in creating your own recipes, please base on the strict guidelines given and select only foods highlighted in Green in each respective Recommended Foods List.

Please ensure that data for every meal, pre- and post-meal blood-glucose readings and all other required information are promptly and accurately input in the Meals_BloodGlucose_HealthRecords page so as to allow Dr Chenxu to closely monitor your meals and rebder prompt advice when adjustment(s) to your meal(s) is deemed neccessary.

We urge you also to read this well-written article on the difference between a Plant-based and Vegan diet. However, it is always healthier to increase your portion of plant foods and reduce the others. Abstain from all processed foods, sugar and fructose (from fruit juices). Even for whole fresh fruits, look at them as natural candies now which you MUST avoid! :)
